Hindi & Hinglish
A WhatsApp chatbot that replies in Hinglish, Hindi or English.
"Kal room milega?" "Price kya hai?" Your customers write the way they speak. SALIQ is an AI agent on your WhatsApp Business number that replies in whatever they write in - English, Hindi or Hinglish - within seconds, from your own business details, and your team can take over any conversation from the shared inbox.
Hinglish
Why a Hinglish message trips up a menu chatbot
Hinglish is Hindi and English mixed in one message, usually typed in Roman letters on a phone keyboard: "Kal room milega?", "Price kya hai?", "Kal 2 rooms available hain?" It is how many customers in India write to a business on WhatsApp - not textbook English, and not Hindi in Devanagari either.
A menu chatbot waits for a keyword or a number - press 1 for rates, press 2 for timings - and "Kitne ka hai?" is neither. A bot that guesses the language from the script sees Roman letters, takes the message for English and answers in stiff English, or translates it word by word and loses the meaning. Either way the customer asked a simple question and did not get a simple answer.
What works is a reply that reads the whole sentence, understands what the customer wants and answers in the same mix of words they used.
How SALIQ replies
Answered in the language they wrote in
SALIQ is an AI agent, not a menu. It reads each message in the customer's own words and language, works out what they want and replies on its own - from the rates, catalogue, FAQs, policies and documents you train it on.
The agent replies in whatever the customer writes in - English, Hindi or Hinglish - and takes voice calls in Hindi and English.
So "Price kya hai?" is answered in Hinglish, a message in Hindi gets a Hindi reply and an English question gets English. The customer does not pick a language first - they just write.
- Text replies in English, Hindi or Hinglish, matching what the customer writes.
- Answers from your own business details and documents, not a fixed script.
- Asks a follow-up question, suggests slots or products, sends a booking link or brings a person in.
- Remembers the conversation and replies in seconds, 24/7.
Example
Asked in Hinglish, answered in Hinglish
A sample WhatsApp conversation. A family asks at 10:42 pm whether two rooms are free tomorrow. The agent answers in the same Hinglish with the room and the rate, asks for the check-in date, sends a booking link once the dates are set, and the inquiry is saved as a lead.
The same works for any business: prices, timings, order status, policies and appointments, answered from the documents you upload - at 11 pm on a Sunday, in the customer's language.
- Customer: Kal 2 rooms available hain? Family of 410:42 PM
- Agent: Namaste! Haan, kal ke liye 2 Deluxe rooms available hain - ₹4,500/night with breakfast. Check-in kis date ko chahiye?10:42 PM

Channels & voice
On WhatsApp, and wherever else they write or call
Customers move between WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Messenger and your website chat. The same agent answers each in the language they write in and remembers them whichever channel they pick; on calls it speaks Hindi and English.
Handover & cost
Your team when it matters, and what it costs
Refund, complaint, big-ticket deal? The agent brings your team in. Reply from the shared inbox and the agent pauses on that conversation automatically; hand it back when you are done. The customer never has to repeat themselves.
The platform is free. AI replies, WhatsApp template messages and voice minutes are deducted from prepaid service credits, with no monthly minimum and a GST tax invoice on every top-up. Most businesses go live the same day. If your business is not yet verified with Meta, WhatsApp verification can add a few days.
The quickest test: message the demo agent on WhatsApp the way your customers do - in Hinglish, Hindi or English. No signup needed.
